Senior Art Director (m/f/x)

As Senior Art Director (m/f/x) you will work in an interdisciplinary team on digital products and brand presences for big brands as well as for start-ups. In an inspiring atmosphere in the heart of Berlin, you will develop human-centred and brand-appropriate solutions for web, mobile and conversational interfaces.

Conversational Developer (m/w/x)

Position: 100% permanent
Start: immediately

In the past two years, we have built up a new innovative business area that deals with conversational experiences (chatbots and voice assistants). With this in mind, we are looking for a Conversational Developer (preferably also starting a career after graduation, with initial, existing practical experience) to strengthen our team. One professional focus here is on the integration of Conversational AI in websites, apps and extended realities. Depending on your personal preferences, you can either focus on the development of backend solutions (e.g. REST API) or create stunning front-end components.

Your tasks:

You are a qualified university or (technical) college graduate and would now like to enter professional life full time or already have a few years of professional experience? Very good. As a Conversational Developer, you will hold a newly created position. You will have the opportunity to actively shape the future tech stack for think moto. This currently consists of: Frontend: HTML/CSS/Javascript/PHP; Backend: WordPress, kirby, Webflow; VR/AR: Unity; Conversational: Cognigy.AI, DialogFlow; Generative Design: Processing and Javascript. We have also started an internal initiative on design with AI and intend to use RunwayML, TensorFlow, ml5JS. In detail, your activities will include:

  • Front-end development of sophisticated layouts and UX patterns for dynamic websites, microsites and web-based applications.
  • Creative coding for generative, data-driven design projects.
  • Supporting designers in various projects such as chatbots or virtual reality
  • Development of dialogue flows and 3D bots in VR (Unity)
  • Protoypical development of interfaces between a VR/AR platform (Unity) and an AI-powered bot platform (Cognigy.AI)
  • Integration of text-to-speech and speech-to-text systems
  • Exploration of new interface paradigms for interaction with text- and speech-based bots for website and apps
  • Active development of the think moto tech stack.
  • You are an active team member in integrated design sprints.

What you bring to the table:

  • You have at least 2 to 5 years of programming experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, media technology or a similar course of study
  • Knowledge of several frontend languages and libraries such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery or similar and some modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS, NodeJs...).
  • Optimally also knowledge of some backend languages (e.g. PHP, C#, Java, Python) and in developing with web APIs.
  • Understanding and knowledge of the development of web-based software architectures
  • Basic understanding of machine learning principles
  • Ability to conduct independent research and plan development projects
  • A flair for good UX and usability as well as a high affinity for design and a desire to work closely with UI/UX/service/conversational designers

Fullstack Developer (m/w/x)

We are currently in a growth phase. Against this background, we are looking for a Fullstack Developer to strengthen our team; you will hold a newly created position.

What to do:

  • Programming of websites and web-based applications
  • further development, adaptation, support of existing web projects of our customers
  • Technical contact person for our customers
  • You plan and optimise the software architecture and set up QA processes
  • Together with our creative developer, you constantly develop our tech stack further and actively make suggestions for development
  • You actively participate in customer workshops

What you bring with you:

  • You have at least 4 years of professional experience in the development of PHP-based websites.
  • "Fullstack" with focus on backend
  • You are familiar with PHP and at least one other backend language (e.g. Java or Python) and in dealing with Web-APis
  • You have very good knowledge of one or more modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, ReactJS, VueJS, NodeJs, ...)
  • You are familiar with databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and web servers (e.g. Apache).
  • Ideally, you are familiar with software architecture, quality management and DevOps topics.
  • Experience in the development of websites based on Wordpress
  • Experience with Drupal or Typo3 is desirable
  • Interest in innovative and design-oriented projects
  • High level of teamwork and communication skills
  • You speak German and English
