In order to exploit the full potential of conversational touchpoints, chatbot Lui was designed and implemented with three aspects in mind. The little amiable character has a smart and engaging personality that draws the user in and makes the brand tangible. The landing page (lui.lexoffice.de) focuses on the conversational experience with Lui while rich media assets enhance the chat. We also paid special attention to the conversational UX, which guides the different target groups through the pre-sales and sales funnel via user-centric, target group-specific user journeys. The outcome: a 41 % higher conversion rate in the Black Friday campaign and by far the most successful Cyber Monday for lexoffice. The bot-based sales campaign ended up being so successful that Lui not only remained active after the campaign, but was steadily scaled up. 2021 sees a continuation of the campaign.
